I'm not sure thing thing actually does anything. I bought this and a comparable Levoit at the same time. The Levoit I clean the screen on weekly and the 230 gets nothing on the screen. The Replace Filter came on after 2 weeks which is ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the air purifier for my brother who suffers with allergies and COPD. He continues to smoke in spite of the health risks and the air purifier works very well where he does smoke in the kitchen as well as handles the cooking odors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are very pleased with the 240 HEPA Air Purifier. With wildfire smoke particles and dust from neighboring construction, it’s comforting to know that we are breathing clean air. The 240 HEPA Air Purifier has also greatly reduced the number of asthma flare ups in our cat. We highly recommend all Puroair products.

I retired and somehow had 2 subscriptions for my filter replacements. Edith was able to straighten out my error and helped me get in the right track for my future filter replacement schedule! Awesome service! I wish all my subscriptions were this easy!

I recently purchased a Mdl 240, and a Mdl 130i. I loved them both. Problem is I moved into the Missouri Veterans Home in July 26. Didn't take the air purifiers with me, due to limited space. So I gave each of them away. The people who got them love them as much as I did. They're great products.
