Sturdy, soft, doesn't smell like some new semi-synthetics. The easiest way to put this together is to put the seat upside down on a chair with no arm. The instruction sheet (only 1 page & loose) is clear and concise but brief. Just sort the bolts, there are two sizes and it matters. Only 12 screws - 6 for the arms - EASY; 4 for that "lever controls module" heavy but easy when on the chair (only aligns one way so you can't mess it up) and finally the two for lumbar support also easy. Only one note - if you're less than 5' 2" your fee won't touch the floor, but you might rest your feet on the legs.
This chair is extremely comfortable and great value for the money. My wife and I researched lots of chairs before purchasing this one and we are so glad we did. The triple paddles provide lots of options to adjust the chair to fit your needs. There is no other chair out there that we have seen where you can make adjustments to the back, the level of the seat, the height and the lumbar support. The material used is very durable and maintains its' shape unlike other products where the material looks creased and worn within days. It's easy to assemble, takes about 30 mins max and you have all you need to sit for hours at a desk should you have to. You can tilt the back very easily and you don't slip off the seat since you can adjust the seat upward with the middle paddle control. My wife and I definitely recommend this chair and you won't find one at this price that is better than this chair. We bought 2 of them for our office and love them.
Not difficult to put together, uses pictures instead of words, and apart from the fact there are two different sizes of screws and not a lot of direction as to which ones go where, the pictures were easy to follow. Like the adjustable lumbar support. I can increase or decrease according to how my back is feeling. Like the 3 levers, although once I set them, I haven't changed them. Thought the back would be higher. It's not as high as other executive high back chairs, and would not be high enough for anyone more than 5'8" tall. Other than that, I've sat in it for a week now, and not had any problems. The levers are not easy to reach and I had to have my husband operate the levers while I made the adjustments.
I bought this chair because it seems to be about the only one available with multiple adjustments. While it could use more padding (like others have said), I was still comfortable at the first sit. I'm happy enough with it so I just ordered another. Fairly easy to put together if you can read picture instructions with no words.
Well made, easy to assemble and comfortable. But the reason I bought it and like it now is the adjustability. Now of course time will tell how long it lasts. I would recommend this chair to anyone.
This chair had 'everything' I was looking for - height, back, tilt & lumbar adjustable - adjustable arms height (avoids tearing non replaceable arm cushions!) & a sturdy chair. The cons are that it isn't the easiest to assemble & some main support holes on the bottom of the chair didn't match so I had to go out & buy some longer screws to try to glue/screw & fix myself. It would be a joke to ret
