Great for kids 5+ if they are tall enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice piece of furniture. The build seems to be high quality. Especially with kid's furniture, it needs to be durable, because you know those kids are goofing around. Thankfully, this seat seems to be built with that in mind. The rubber base is slightly convexed so that you can rock a bit while sitting. The seat also swivels all the way around. I find that the kids love moving the stool around to the table to do homework and then carrying it into the living room to watch TV, read, etc. The seat is heavy, but not so heavy that a 6-10 y/o can safely move it.
I will mention that there is a warning in the box explaining that both feet must be on the floor when sitting down. This means that children too short to have both feet on the floor while sitting cannot use this stool. A smaller child trying to climb up on this will certainly fall... Ask me how I know! My 6 and 10 y/o had no problem but my 2 and 4 y/o cannot use it. I would only recommend this for use with children 5+, depending on height.
Overall, I think it is a great little stool that allows a child to fidget a bit while sitting. My kids love it!

A must in every classroom

Kids love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5.5 year old and 2.5 year old love this seat (and often argue over it). Its a great height for my 5 year old (in the 88th percentile for height) and my 2.5 year old can use it while still touching with her tippy toes. I'm about 5'1" and can still use it without feeling scrunched so even though its a fixed height it still covers a wide range of sizes. I also appreciated that it can hold up to 300 lbs so anyone in the family can use it with out worrying about breaking it. It also happens to fit under our coffee table making it easier to store out of the way when not in use.
The seat is solid but isnt hard plastic on top so its still comfortable to sit and even if you have slippery material pants you dont slide off. The grip on the bottom doesnt slide on our hard wood or shag rug (unless you tip it over significantly which youre not supposed to do anyway). My kids are young so I do have to remind them its for sitting only and to keep both feet on the ground but theyve done better with it than I anticipated.
We use it a lot for home schooling and it gives my 5.5 year old a way to wiggle around a bit without getting up or climbing all over.
The seat overall has been holding up well so far, even the bottom grip that my kids like to pull at with their toes when sitting.
Overall its a well made, sturdy stool that is comfortable to sit on and helps get out the wiggles. I would recommend for anyone looking for something they can move a bit on.

recently got the Lucas Fixed-Height Kids Flexible Active Stool for my child, and we’ve been really happy with it so far.
First of all, it’s perfect for active kids. My little one always needs to move, and this stool lets them wiggle, rock, and balance without falling or sliding around. The non-skid bottom really works — it stays in place even on our wooden floor.
The quality is great too. It feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy at all, and it’s super lightweight so my child easily carries it from room to room. I also love that it encourages better posture and keeps them engaged while doing homework or drawing.
One thing to note — the height is fixed, so you have to choose the size carefully. For us it’s perfect right now, but I can see how kids might outgrow it. And since it has no backrest, it’s better for shorter activities rather than long sitting.
Overall, I really like it, and my child loves it even more. It’s fun, practical, and totally worth it if your kid has lots of energy and can’t sit still on a regular chair.

Portable and perfect for a fidgety kid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Flash Furniture Lucas Kids Active Stool (mine’s the blue one), and it’s actually been great. It gives my son just enough wiggle room to move without tipping over or sliding all over the place. The nonskid bottom really does its job, and it’s sturdy without being heavy. It’s easily movable too which makes taking it with us great as needed.
It’s the perfect height for a desk or homework spot, and it keeps them focused because they can move a bit instead of constantly getting up. Honestly, it’s one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it.

Great stool for movers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this stool. There was no assembly to it! The stool came ready to be used! My boys instantly sat on it while watching TV. One of my sons even flips it over and uses the bottom part as the top (as seen in picture)! It’s easy to move from place to place as well. Materials and finish is great and durable!

Nice durable little stool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived pre-assembled and my boys couldn't wait to use it! The size and height is perfect for my 6 year old. It's relatively lightweight. The non skid bottom and top helps prevent accidents. The flexibility seems to add to it’s durability and I forsee many years of use for this cute versatile stool.
