Well Constructed But Uncomfortable

I wouldn't recommend this Barstool. The inadequate seat depth coupled with a very straight seat back combine to make it feel as though you're sliding out of the seat. It is otherwise well built.

Critical Flaw
on December 17, 2018

I love the seat, it's sturdy with a nice cushion and the shape and backing is exactly what I was looking for. The reason I won't buy a set of them is because the seat tips slightly forward so when you sit in it you feel like you're sliding out of it. Which is really uncomfortable. But otherwise it's a great stool. I was going to try to MacGuyver it and put a shim under the seat but I just decided to keep looking.

A little too tall

Bought to use as guitar stool, needed the cushion and the back. Unfortunately it's too high and the seat design almost leans forward a bit, and yes I put it together correctly.

Not for heavier people as I had hoped
on August 3, 2018

I bought this for my boyfriend who is over 6 ft tall and on the heavy side and it's not a comfortable chair for him despite the 4.5" thick seat pad. There's not enough seat cushion and no "slouch room" with the back being at 90 degrees. He feels like he's sitting on the edge, no hip room for him. He says it's probably fine for regular people but not for him as a barstool where he is looking for comfort.
