Great product that was so easy to setup on a Mac. I was very skeptical that this would work as well and as easily as suggested in the product descriptions, but installation is very straight-forward and I was up and running very quickly
I have now had the TrioMax (1 screen) for about 24 hours and I am thrilled. This is undoubtedly the best solution to add a screen to a laptop. Although I would like to see larger screens available for a 17" laptop, this makes for a critically needed second work area or a way to cross-reference multiple windows with multiple documents into a single work product. The set-up was very easy. There was a snag in which USB port to use and if you use the wrong one it will not start. Although I figured it out on my own I had sent a note to customer service at about 4 pm and had a response by 9 am the next morning (Pacific time). I admit I was and to a degree am concerned about durability of the screen hinge and frame, it is doing the trick. Perhaps the novel design permitting this set up is just too novel for me to judge. The quality of color and brightness is fine and although it is noticeably different from my 4K, glossy, 17" screen with advanced graphics processing, it is still very good and works for any office application except perhaps certain graphic arts. The On Screen Display offers enough control for most people. I do not like, however, the lack of clear icons to control the OSD. They are there but very hard to see and I have constantly missed the right place to press. Finally, although customer support is superlative, their included User Guide leave a bit to be desired. I would recommend to the company that a technical writer do their next version and be more comprehensive. Critiques aside, if you want the luxury of a second or third screen on your laptop (I am PC world), this is an awesome solution. I highly recommend
Id give it 5 stars if it was easier to set up. I got this for my work laptop and had to have the IT dept. remotely take over my account and set it up because I dont have administrative rights. It took them 2 hours over 2 days to figure it out. That said, the instructions seemed really straight forward, so its entirely possible the IT people got it wrong. I have a friend who has this and she set it up in minutes by herself. Anyway now that its working life is good. It looks gray, is super easy to use and swim not flipping back and forth between screens to edit multiple documents. Since the pandemic hit Ive been working from home at the dining room table in a small apartment, so I didnt want a full size, stand up screen I'd have to unplug and find some place to store it every evening so we can use the table for dinner. Now I just slide the screen back, close my laptop and Im done.

The Duex Pro monitor extender has been a life changing experience. As a Year 1 Med student, we are hit with a Geyser-flow of information. And adjusting to virtual learning adds to the overwhelm. With the Duex Pro, I can have my the platform lecture on one side and take notes and reference the textbook simultaneously. No more minimizing or struggle reading from small windows opening on top of each other. The best part is the easy installation and practical use. Just plug in and ready to go. All of this is rarely offered for a product with outstanding pixel display and at an affordable price. For a student like myself, this makes a world of difference. Highly recommend it.
The product is really good for those looking for a 2nd display. It's easy to use and power source from computer is great. Service is very good too. I think a separate stand and ability to angle the screen would be excellent improvements.
What a neat new toy! I am super pleased with this monitor and am happy I purchased. It was super simple, plug n play, to install and turn on. Packaging was great preventing any potential damage during transit. The unit is EVER SO SLIGHTLY heavier than I expected, but it doesn't cause any inconvenience or discomfort to use. The magnets don't seem as sturdy as I expected either, but so far, day 1, and its staying in place. Overall, a good buy for a remote worker who isn't stationary all day.
I am returning immediately. I ordered 2 and I didnt even have all the parts. NO WIRES!! How do you send an incomplete product to someone, and I was displeased about the quality of the screens. In my opinion, not worth the steep price.
