Great product for flexible multiple screens when you need them!

I got two of the trio max monitors and have loved using them with both my MacBook Air and my Microsoft surface. I primarily use them on a desk so I dont attach them to my laptop.
Great idea, but plastic parts do not feel strong enough.

The screen is great (brightness, resolution), and it connects really easily with the laptop. However, when pulling out the screen, it's too easy to pull the screen out in a way that risks breaking some of the plastic parts. I returned this because I was afraid that the plastic track holding the extended screen would give out over time. I know they're aiming to keep the kit relatively light, but I just don't trust the build quality right now.
I was not sure if this would be a practical attachment to a laptop, but I have been shown otherwise. It fits seamlessly with my current laptop and increased my productivity when completing academic coursework since I am able to keep a window open for reviewing a research article while composing a paper. This was very problematic with a single screen setup. Compared to a standard monitor, this product is pricey, but its mobility factor is what compelled me to get it since I take may laptop with me to different work spaces.
This is great in theory. It is bulky and heavy. The screen sags when pulled out. It took our IT guys at work to figure out that the cord connecting to the computer only works through the C port and not the USB like its supposed to. And if you connect it to the C port you get no sound coming in or out.Just not worth the money.
Very useful and easy to use - slides easily in and out and fits nicely on my 13" macbook. Requires some support due to weight distribution, but a lap-desk works great so no need to get off the couch. Overall a great product!
HAVING TROUBLE GETTING CONNECTED..? TRY SWITCHING PLUG INS ON YOUR NEW MONITOR

Do not feel overwhelmed if you are having difficulty getting your laptop to recognize your new monitor. I spent two days trying to download drivers & restarting my computer so my laptop would acknowledge a 2nd screen. I followed the step by step instruction on the enclosed booklet before deciding to contact support. Long story short... if you look at your new monitor... you will see there are TWO plug ins. All I had to do was move the cable to the other plug in and IT WORKED. The tech support rep was very helpful and kind. It would've been helpful if the directions on the enclosed instruction booklet had mentioned in the "trouble shooting" section something about SWITCHING PLUG INS. Otherwise, this is a nice product and I look forward to using it.
Loving the Trio experience, Arrived perfectly packaged with necessary clips to connect both screens.Perfect output, no dead pixels, worth the buy! Multi-tasking is a breeze and being able to reference multiple sources at once has made reporting my work so much easier!
