Magnet mount is frustrating

I'm writing this review since I'm considering returning the product.I have a Lenovo P1 Gen 3. Not fair to compare the OLED 4K screen on my laptop to this IPS one but I'd say it's decent. The size is nice aswell and it gets to the point of having extra applications open for viewing on the side. I also like that you can configure it to portrait and standing alone on the table.My issues with this product is that the magnetic mounting just doesn't cut it. I am only using one and perhaps two would balance it out but it seems to really struggle in keeping the monitor up. The monitor is too heavy and the magnets twist and the slide retracts on its own weight. Maybe the non-pro, 11"'ish version doesn't have this issue. I also don't like that there is a permanent (unless removed with hot air) and unsightly metal plate mounts so the magnets can work.I will be looking into splint style monitor extensions.

Ein gutes Display fürs HomeOffice, wenn der Platz für einen Monitor nicht reicht.Allerdings sollte man beachten, das Gehäuse mti den mitgelieferten Magnet-Halterungen nicht genau mittig hinter den Laptop-Screen zu kleben, sondern eher etwas versetzt - ansonsten wird ein guter Teil vom Display durch den Laptop-Monitor verdeckt.Ansonsten nix zu meckern.Achja: auf das installieren des Treibers habe ich verzichtet. Es wird auch nicht erklärt, warum man jetzt einen Treiber für den Betrieb brauchen sollte. Zumal das PKG direkt vom Hersteller runtergeladen werden muss.

This monitor is exactly what i needed to be able to work remote from anywhere! The quality of the screen is better than my laptop screen and it�s very sturdy. The magnets make it so easy to remove the monitor when it�s not in use. Love it!

Does not work on Macbook Pro - from someone who works in tech

Bought 2 Trio Max screensI have a Macbook Pro (Mid-2015) with Big Sur 11.2.3. I installed the driver and the software extension and carefully following each step in the installation video....monitors didn't work.I thought I missed something. I uninstalled, then reinstalled the drivers following the steps even more closely this time....monitors didn't work.I unplugged one thinking the two devices may be competing for some reason and followed the steps again....monitor didn't workLooked for support on their website and the support documentation is pretty much a joke. That was the dead give away. Theres maybe 19 support questions that have been answered on their website. And several have been clearly removed. Not nearly enough for the number of 1 & 2 star reviews on the product.Two hours later...I gave up

Perfekt f�r unterwegs.

Ich arbeite viel unterwegs und brauchte unbedingt einen zweiten Monitor. Aber mobile L�sungen gab es so recht keine. Dan is wurde mir dieser Monitor empfohlen und ich dachte besser geht es nicht.Verarbeitung ist schon mal positiv. Das anbringen am Laptop geht auch einfach, wenn man sich an die Anleitung h�lt.Positiv ist, dass man bei Bedarf die ganze Halterung abnehmen kann, da sie nir mit Magneten befestigt ist ??Ist der Monitor montiert, l�sst er sich bequem zur Seite rausziehen. Strom bekommt er �ber den USB Anschluss am Laptop. Der Akku h�lt sonst ca 10 Stunden und mit Monitor liegt er immer noch 8 Stunden.Das hold wirkt sehr nat�rlich und Farben werden sehr gut dargestellt. F�r mich ist der Monitor eine unglaubliche Erleichterung. Sicherlich ist er nicht ganz g�nstig aber das komplettpaket stimmt hier einfach. Wer mobil einen guten Monitor sucht, sollte sich diesen hier unbedingt anschauen.

Great piece of kit

Having the Trio monitors has been a real help while I've been working from home during the various lockdowns. Everything packs away so easily now, and if I need to move to another area of the house, its super easy to continue using multiple monitors without having to lug around a laptop + monitors.The screen quality is great, and all I did was get a couple of macbook covers so that I can stick the magnets to that instead of the laptop lid itself. Everything still holds, and I don't damage the laptop.I've been recommending them to my colleagues

problematic hinge

The display itself was fine.I am the type of person who likes to have 3 displays and using this along with just my laptop worked out better than I had expected. And I actually used it for about 2 weeks.I ended up returning it because the hinge is a bit problematic. When opened. if the table is a little shaky the monitor dips a bit and the bottom left corner of the display would fall behind my computer.I ended up returning this and getting the Sidetrak Swivel instead. I've been a lot happier with it.
