Great Budget On Ear Headphones option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530BT is a very practically designed product, build for the everyday user of on ear headphones. With a solid mix of mids and lows when jamming to music, this is perfect for someone who wants to lock in while doing a long work task. Super easy to connect to my iPhone and bring to work, but long sessions did make my ears and head hurt a bit. Additionally, I didn’t get a chance to use at the gym but don’t seem like the most practical for a workout setting. Great budget On Ear Headphones option for everyday commute!

Thank you for sharing your feedback on our JBL. We're glad that you enjoy the rich sound and easy iPhone connectivity during your daily commute and deep-work sessions. Regarding the comfort during long listening sessions, the headband and ear cushions will naturally soften a bit over time. Feel free to contact our customer support for further assistance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome product, perfect fit. The product is really awesome, I really enjoy it. Whenever I run in the treadmill is awesome I feel the music all around me, also when I'm heading to work. It connected really easy to the phone. And noise canceling is good for it's price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530BT are super comfortable and have astounding good sound. When I received them, I was surprised by how light they are. Honestly I was shocked that they sound as loud and full as they do. Sound quality is great whether it is music, podcasts, audio books and even phone calls, they perform flawlessly. Another great feature, is the fact that I can have multiple connections active. I have them set up with my phone and my computer. No issues listening to music and in just a few seconds I can be on my Zoom meeting without skipping a beat. They already replaced my office headset and people don’t come chitchat while I’m wearing them, so double bonus. One thing to note, these are not noise canceling headphones, but honestly I have not missed it. They do a great job at blocking unwanted sound in normal environments. I doubt they would do well in an airplane, but so far they’ve done well in office environments, parks and public areas. Overall super happy with them. Great sound without weighing you down.
Good if you’re on a tight budget, otherwise look into higher end products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an alright set of on-ear headphones for the price, but there are some notable flaws.
I’ll start with the positives:
Very long battery life. I charged these once and never had to charge them again for almost two weeks of regular usage. The product boasts needing only 5 minutes of charging to get 5 hours of battery life. So, if you do find yourself in a dead battery situation, it seems like a very small amount of time on the charger would remedy your issue. Also, the sound is decent, which you come to expect from JBL. I’m always happy that they make sure to make their products as “full” and bass-y as possible at every price point. Taking phone calls on these was also fine, as both parties could hear each other clearly. Finally, they are highly portable and lightweight. So, maybe a perfect beater travel pair of headphones.
Now onto the negatives:
I have a head on the larger size, and these headphones are just plain uncomfortable after any prolonged use. They are too tight and the small ear cups press your ear into your head in a way that is actually somewhat painful. Also, while lightweight, they seem just kind of “cheap” when it comes to the materials. I wouldn’t be surprised if these start to show serious wear and tear much faster than other JBL headphones. I understand that this kind of thing comes with the price point, but that price point becomes less attractive if you’re going to need to replace them regularly. Finally, there isn’t any noise cancelling, and I found what I was listening to getting drowned out while using these in more active areas.
Overall, if you are in need of a basic pair of over-ear headphones and aren’t expecting them to be your go-to for years to come, this is your pair. Bonus points if you have a smaller head, as the lack of comfort when using longer than an hour or so is a really notable negative. I can see this being a perfect purchase for the person who maybe needs a commuter pair to and from school or work and doesn’t want to have to worry about them being stolen, breaking, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound quality while soft and comfortable. These were a bit larger for me, and could’ve used a bit smaller in sizing. I enjoyed easy connection and comparability with the app.
User friendly, durable and great for music, movies or calls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL didn't disappoint with these JBL 530BT headphones! Great JBL quality sound that is very user friendly and extremely durable! My preferred work headphones for sure, but also great for movies or phone calls. Very affordable and perfect for all your needs! Check them our today and you will thank yourself, me and JBL!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all of my JBL products…these headphones feel a little cheaply made though. The quality of the sound is amazing, and so is the noise cancelling. You can’t hear anything when you are using them, but you also can’t hear the music when it’s on the loudest setting outside of the person wearing them. That is very impressive for being on the cheaper side, and wanting privacy when using the headphones. They do fold slightly but not what I would have wanted. They paired super quick and you can download the app and customize everything about them. Overall, I would buy these for someone because I do think they are good quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530BT are on-ear Bluetooth headphones that deliver great sound and are comfortable to wear. Since these are on-ear, rather than over the ear, they are a bit smaller. The ear pieces fold, making the headphones easy to throw into your purse, bag or suitcase. They are light weight and the padding across the band makes it easy to comfortably wear the headphones for extended periods. To get the sound profile that works best for you, you will need to download the JBL Headphones app to your phone and adjust the settings using the app. The first time I tried to make adjustments, the app found the headphones, but it froze or something. I had to close the app and start over, but after that I didn’t have any more problems using the app with the headphones. These headphones are affordable for many people. While they feel very sturdy, I found myself wondering how the covering on the ear pads will hold up over time. Also, there was nothing else in the box, other than the headphones and a quick start guide, so you will need your own charging cord and app. I took off a star because of my concern about the long-term wear and tear and because one person I was talking to on my cellphone said that I sounded like I was in a tunnel when we were talking. She said that I sounded far away, so I had to turn off the headphones to complete that call. I used the headphones for other calls with no problem, so I am not sure what happened on that one call. Overall, I’d recommend these for someone who was looking for an affordable, comfortable set of headphones with great sound (once you make your adjustments through the app). Also, the battery life of up to 76 hours is long compared to similar headsets.
