This is a great knife. My fiancé loves it and has used it to prep every meal since Christmas morning. The quality and craftsmanship are amazing. I’m a little jealous and want one for myself, even if I won’t use it as much, but just to have and show off.

This is a stunningly beautiful knife but its good looks belie its incredible usefulness as a kitchen tool. Its unbelievably sharp blade makes any kind of cutting, slicing, dicing etc easy and silky smooth and adds true pleasure to cooking tasks. This is a lifetime knife, and I am thrilled with its beauty and utility.

I’m not a chef by any means, but wanted to buy a quality chef’s knife. Looked at several, but none seemed to compare to Shun. Beautiful knife! Like a dream to use. Lifetime sharpening!! Will definitely look to Shun as I upgrade my other knives.

I had just got a job where I was required to have a knife set. On my first day of work I didn't have my own set and I had to use the dull knife they had. The next day I bought the shun premier and I was not disappointed at all. This knife made such a difference and I also love the magnificent design. The handle was comfortable and made with a beautiful wood. From now on forward I will only buy shun knives.
