Excellent knife. Nice balance, good rocker for chopping and dicing. Wish Shun would bring the Ken Onion destined knives back… still my favorite grip of any knife I’ve ever used!

This is my first nice knife, and it is amazing. It cuts through everything so well. Sharpening was easy enough to pick up on.i also got the plastic case and care box. Case is great and helps me feel a bit safer and I haven't tried out the care box. Also the knife is absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend buying one if you're thinking about it.

Great knife, terrible warranty support from disreputible company

Edge of the knife chipped in normal use when knife was new. Sent in for warranty and denied with no explanation. I own many expensive knives from many brands that KAI owns and this will certainly be the last one. Do not buy if you have any expectation they will support the product if defective.
