I have several Shun knifes

I have several Shun knifes that I really like and I use one my Shun chef knives most of the time. This knife however just doesn't measure up to what i expected. It is heavy even for a large knife and didn't arrive as sharp as my previous knifes. I cook briskets for a local organization and used this knife last Friday on seven briskets and at time i felt like I was sawing through the meat rather than slicing it.

This knife was a gift for my son who does a lot of barbeque, smoking, etc. He has other Shun knives and I'm sure he will enjoy this one as well.

Awesome knife and so happy I bought it. Like using a hot knife through butter when slicing. Great weight and comfortable handle.

Not sharp enough out of the box
