Magical Monster High

Pretty in Pink!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] She’s so beautiful! Her pink hair and pink outfit suit her so well. She has the perfect curly hair and texture. I love her hat but it doesn’t stay on very good. The outfit is so cute and my favorite thing is the candle accessory although it’s a bit hard to get it to stay in her hands to pose with it. Her wrists are jointed so she can do many other poses. I like that all of her accessories really help tie her to her name as a “sun witch”. She has a sun on her pink cauldron, her purse, earrings, skirt… basically everything. She’s functional and fun to play with. My daughter is very happy to add her to her “display” collection. We LOVE her and can’t wait to get more!

Hours of imaginative open play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is so much fun! The accessories are high quality and kept my daughter entertained for a long time. She pretended the magical spell over the cauldron (as she poured the water in it) released a special necklace that gave her powers to fly.

Cutesy Project Moth Doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw this doll and knew my granddaughter had to have her. She comes with several accessories and pretty curly hair. Her whole outfit is cute any she bends too, so you pose her in many positions. She has a cauldron, which my granddaughter loves. She said she can put spells on her other dolls. Overall this was a great choice.

A big hit with my daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 4 yr old daughter and it was a big hit. The doll is really pretty in person and I love all the little details, especially her curly pink hair, outfit and accessories. The cauldron, spell book, purse and potion pieces give her a lot to play with besides just the doll, which has been great for pretend play. Everything feels colorful and fun, and she was excited to start playing with it right away. Definitely a cute set for a kid who likes dolls and anything magical.

Moonspell Magic Rae Doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rae Lumina Moonspell Magic by Monster High Doll was beautifully packaged. The artwork on the pacakging was very pretty and appealing. The only issue we found was getting the plastic pieces that secured her head and hair net detached. The plastic was somewhat difficult to cut off and it will require an adult to do without cutting the dolls hair.
The doll itself is stunning there is fantastic detail in the facial features from the makeup to the freckles and the whisps of hair. The clothing is great and has sun and moon details throughout. She has full movement of the arms and legs, which is great for a doll especially when playing and having the doll sit. We really liked the way the hat is designed as well, the comb on the hat allows for it to stay on the dolls head when playing. The sun beams on the hay could have been more of a golden sun color instead of a pink purple.
The accessories provided were okay in comparison to the doll. The purse could have been made to open rather than just solid plastic. The book and potion can be placed on the dolls hand to give it the appearance thar she is holding them fairly easily, but the candle doesn't stay in her hand well.
The surprise cauldron was more of a mess than I would like. The only way the insert in the cauldron stays up is with water in it which depending on your play area is not ideal or practical. There could have been a slider switch instead to raise the insert. The necklace from the cauldron could have been the same golden color as the belt, because it blends in with the beautiful pink hair the doll has.
Overall, the Rae Lumina doll is beautiful and my daughter loved playing with it.
