HK is the best I've heard

a fantastic speaker bought at a massive discount. This is my second HK. Best I've experienced. Equally and higher priced competitors--I've bought several--are dramatically lesser quality.

Studio 8's won't pair and play as channel A&B

This speaker is good if you're just running one. However, I purchased two Onyx Studio 8's. When I first got them, it wasn't easy, but I could get them to pair; now, I can't. I am using Pandora and I've tried both my iPhone and Android. I read where Android paired easier, but now, neither one will run both speakers, channel A & B. I can run both speakers individually with either phone, but they won't play together.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To connect two Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 speakers wirelessly for dual stereo sound, make sure neither speaker is actively connected to your phone's Bluetooth, then power on both units. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on both speakers simultaneously for 5 seconds until you hear a chime indicating they have paired. Since you've paired them before and they aren't pairing now, we recommend resetting both speakers first by turning them on, pressing and holding the Volume (+) and Bluetooth buttons together for over 5 seconds until they power off. Once reset, try the pairing steps again. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at support.jbl.com.

I love how these speakers both look and sound and my stars would go to 11, except...the software to link two together is just horrible. Ill do exactly what HK says to do to link them and it will fail 4 out 5 times or more. Then when Im about to give up and send them back, they link and I do love the sound. Furthermore, they disconnect whenever the TV they are attached to stops at the end of a movie or turns off, making me start all over linking them again! I e been leaving them linked to SiriusXM all night, but often forget and have to go through another 20 min long link together session. Ugh. Sadly these speakers are last generation so I don't expect a software fix, but since they are still selling them and this should not be so hard, I hope Im wrong about this.

I bought this for my sisters birthday (Onyx Studio 8 in Champagne). She loves it. However there IS a small issue with this speaker. Anything below about 1/2 volume sounds amazing, but anything above it starts to sound over driven and the Bass becomes flat and dull. Other than that minor issue, it's a great speaker and my sister loves listening to her country music with it.
