A True Delight Watching New Releases and Older Dis

I have owned this over a year and have been impressed with the video and audio quality. This unit has adjustable HDR with disc's that have that feature. The on-the-fly adjustable menu let's the user see the effects change live with each setting. To really appreciate the quality of this unit, you need high-end televisions and audio equipment. The chroma effects are noticeable especially on older movies. The upscale on Blu-rays of older movies is excellent IMO. Use high speed 8K hdmi cables and adjust audio settings on the TV to avoid the occasional audio drop. AI can offer suggestions to correct audio drops if they occur. The a/v quality of an ultra 4k disc vs set top box stream is noticeable. The remote is impossible to use in a dark setting. You rely on the glow from the tv to hit the right bottons. The price is outrageous but, if you want the best, this is it. Also, purchase a lens cleaning cd. It can correct disc read errors if debris gets on the lens.

all the important ports you need: 2 hdmi out. ethernet lan port. one usb 2.0 in front and one usb 3.0 in the back. 2 ch audio out and 7.1 ch audio out. and one optical digital audio out. hard and solid construction. very comprehensive menu. the remote control the t.v. and other device connect with this blu ray. direct acces for netflix and other apps on the web. compatible with 4k t.v.,hdr and dolby atmos. for more features , download the user manual on line. worth the price for this high quality ultra hd blu ray player.
