We are sorry to hear that your expectations weren't met. Best range will be achieved outdoors in open rural areas without obstructions, or on flat areas. The "up to" range is under optimal conditions (ex: over open water, desert, or mountain top to mountain top). As with all two way radios, any obstructions between radios will reduce the range.

I bought 2 of the MXT115 for our farm equipment and have been impressed with them. However, one unit I noticed a small cut on the cord and couldn’t get a response from the support team. Overall, great product but support could be better.

Bought one for grain cart and one for combine. We can talk at least 3 miles apart, haven’t tested farther apart. Replaced CBs that wouldn’t talk across a 1/4 mile field.
