It is a very compact unit that will fit unobtrusively in your vehicle The display screen is clear with a variety of back light colors. Good clear audio. The display is 8-segment LCDs so menu function labels are cryptic and hard to understand until you get used to them- squelch shows as “59” (Sq). The ghost antenna works OK but without a VSWR meter it’s hard to say how “well”. The 1/4-wave mag-mount that comes standard works just as well. The mirror mount is VERY substantial but I doubt it would fit a rollbar as advertised

Handy extra radio

We use Midland radio in all our guide trucks down in Baja and sometimes we have customers with a different radio setup. We love these because we can hand them to the customer they can plug them into their cigarette litter and mount the small antenna and be connected with us almost instantly!
