Better Than Tape

We have been using Roku for about five years now, since we dropped cable, and it has made a world of difference to how we watch television. Roku has given us total control over what we watch. With Roku Streaming, we can get news and entertainment from practically all over the world. Local news, for us, is only for weather reports. The Roku Express 4K+ that we recently purchased was to replace an older model that began to have issues. Since we have a Smart Samsung TV, we could easily just use it to see the Streaming services to which we are subscribed. But the Roku remote does it all and we prefer it to anything else. When we have guests, we always tell them about Roku, but in many cases, they already know about it. Roku units are great and so is the service!

Great platform

As someone who worked in the industry, I am impressed with the user interface, both in simplicity and performance. The remote, while small is easy to use and has a tactile feel that makes positive keystrokes. The voice control, while imperfect is as good as I have seen on the market.

Originally bought for a non-smart tv in the man cave. This was so easy for the non-techy husband to learn. So much content is there so you always have something to watch. Set up was a breeze.

This model has controls to power on tv, change volume or mute, and voice search. I no longer need to use the tv remote in addition to roku remote.

Bought this one to replace one we had. The old one had a problem with the sound when we hooked it up to the TV we moved from the living to the bedroom. Therefore, I bought this one to replace it. I hooked it up and it works great. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about buying it.
