This product was recommended to me, I purchase it not even a month yet and I love ❤️ it..why didn't I know about it before...go buy it now, forget about those other gadgets and get the real deal...Roku is the way to go.
1. I must push the power button two or three times for the unit to start up. Once started, all button functions are properly responsive. 2. Audio and Video often are not synced. Audio has a slight delay and it is annoying. I have other ROKU stick devices that do not exhibit this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The remote behavior you described can sometimes occur if the batteries in your remote are running low. Try exchanging them for a fresh set to see if this helps.
If that’s not the cause, try going through the TV setup screen again. But try skipping the first option that works—there are often multiple settings for each brand of TV and a different setting might work better for you.
Regarding the audio sync, if you're using an AVR and seeing this issue, consult your user guide for resolving. This may be known as "audio sync" or "lip-sync," depending on the manufacturer. If you're not using an AVR, please reach out to us at support.roku.com/contactus so that our team can help investigate.
Bought this 10/14. After a 10/25 Roku update, streaming video began to freeze while the audio continued. There is, apparently, no fix for this…although hundreds of users have reported it over the past 6 weeks. Don’t buy it. Roku no longer stands behind its products.

My two Roku 3810s (the previous Streaming Stick Plus model to this new one) both worked great for years. When one of them died the other day, I bought this one. What an utter piece of junk! Constantly drops wifi even though everything is in the same place it’s always been, constant a/v errors (older TV, so I’m hoping that setting it to 1080p solves this), jumps all over the place when trying to rewind or forward on YouTube TV, and when I turn it on it sometimes shows my screensaver like my 3810 did, and sometimes just sits on a black screen until I hit the home button. Don’t even try to talk to customer service, because they are completely clueless. Time to try some other brands. Super disappointing, because I’ve been using Roku devices since version 2.
I own many models of roku. Compared to other streamers I enjoy Roku the most. As i mention in the headline its easy to setup and to use, and simple for my 90yo parents to learn use and enjoy. Amazon streamer is highly glitchy and very slow, but not Roku.
I have this device, I am living in Turkey and Amazon Prime and Disney Plus have Turkish services running in our country but Roku Channels dont show up these Amazon Prime and Disney Plus for some unknown restrictions, therefore we cannot watch these services with this device. It is rubbish without supported channels.

Hi Tolga, we appreciate you getting in touch as we're always looking to expand our presence. Channel availability/access on Roku devices will vary from region to region as it is determined by each channel provider themselves.
To determine if a channel is available in your region, visit channelstore.roku.com.
We don't currently market or sell devices directly in your region, so many channels/services may not currently be available. However, others such as YouTube and Netflix work in many locations.
You'll want to contact any specific channel provider directly to inquire further and share your interest in seeing their channel on the Roku platform in your location.
