I got this product June 7 its June 10th it stopped working already. Channels just stop loading. Receive error message about being unable to load. Put my Fire Stick in worked just fine. Hooked up old Roku worked just fine. Plus I didn't get HDMI cord with purchase. How can Roku sell a product that last 3 days. Shipped in box without proper cords? Returning. Will never buy Roku products again. Get a Fire stick instead.
I purchased a Roku Express 4K+ 2021 | Streaming Media Player HD/4K/HDR with Smooth Wireless Streaming at the end of September, it has been working OK until now. However, the last 3 days it has been losing the wireless internet connection very often which makes it impossible to watch anything. To connect it back up I have to push the reset button. I have also powered everything down multiple times. I know the wireless network is not the problem because I can see the gateway and it is on-line. Also, I have a computer in the same room and it is still connected with internet connection
Roku works great overall, with the exception that they really need to do something with their longstanding audio sync issues. We have four 4K+ and one streambar device and it does it on ALL of them. Only fix is to restart the device twice a day. It would make it less painful if Roku moved "RESTART DEVICE" to the quick menu!
I have had this Roku for 1 year. The remote stop wiring and it constantly say low power. I used the item Ms that came in the box and it is plugged into the wall socket. It still say low power.
I purchased this product on 7/28/2022. The streaming stick works, which is the only reason for the 3-star rating. This review is to inform potential buyers that the rechargeable remote is cheaply made junk. Specifically, the charging port and headphone port no longer function.
We have Roku units attached to TVs throughout the house and use the headphone function so we can watch different programs without disturbing others. Using headphones a lot quickly runs the remote charge down, which then requires recharging the remote. This wouldn't be a problem if the headphone jack and charging jack were made better. Unfortunately, Roku cheaped out. Bottom line, the remote no longer charges. If I keep the cable plugged in, I can sometime find the sweet spot that allows the remote to get power. When it is working though, the headphones cut in and out because of the cheap headphone jack.
The only way I can currently use my streaming stick with headphones is with the iPhone app and my apple headphones.
