There are so many great benefits to this device. However, it's very frustrating that the remote constantly has connection issues, I've been working with it for well over a month and it's so frustrating that I finally ended up just replacing the remote with something less quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just another on/off remote.

I have two Roku products (on different TV's) and neither will play Roku options. They sync fine to Netflix, Disney, etc. I have read online about network connections but the Roku channels are the only thing that WON'T play. Additionally, intermittent "low power, plug directly" message. It is directly plugged into electrical socket. Almost useless except I use as voice remote , power and volume control remote.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value for the price

This product covers exactly what I need for my streaming. I like that the remote is upgraded from the old Roku stick that I had, and I can use voice to search for titles. When the Black Friday deal came up, and I had the opportunity to purchase this at a greatly reduced price, it became a true value in a great time to upgrade. I’m not sure I would’ve paid for the full price, but with the sale it was well worth it, that’s why I only gave it four stars.

I like that I can now get Apple, Peacock, and Max without issue. I wish I could put the TV to sleep with the remote. The remote is a wee bit too sensitive. I tend to switch channels accidently.
