My mother loves the talk freature and she is saving so much money streaming instead of cable...it is easy for her to use.

I bought this to cut the cord with cable TV. The picture is better and it's great for organizing paid apps. The free programming is a huge bonus and was the other factor in getting Roku over a competitor.. The only thing I consider missing is CNN news as it's a subscription app. I would also like the ability to subscribe to TCM (Turner Classic Movies) through Roku ..

Remote actually works

I purchased a Roku Express a few months ago and the remote used on a Samsung TV is terrible. I think there is problem with the volume buttons. I went through all trouble shooting - no luck
Roku's answer is "buy a new remote" which means pay to replace your non-working item (it was like this when I got it).

Works straight of the box! Cannot say the same about a Fire Stick TV. Replaced the Fire Stick with this Roku. Buy a Roku.

I bought two of these because I was unhappy with our Amazon Fire-Sticks. Best decision I made. Used to have problems getting stations to come in; with the Roku, we have absolutely no problems.
