I bought this a month ago. I didn't think that I was only buying a way to spend more money to obtain access to things I'd like to see. Sports, etc. I have found some things I'd enjoy are free, but it's all quite difficult to keep track of.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Rohn, thanks for your input! Are you accessing it through the Roku channel or the stand-alone channel? For Roku channels, you can track the channels inside The Roku channel by adding them to “favorites.” Inside the Roku channel, highlight the channel that you want and press the star(*) button of the Roku remote, then mark it as favorites. Look for your marked channels on favorites on the left side of the TV screen. Check out this link to find/watch more free TV items: https://www.roku.com/blog/free-movies-channels-roku. Need help? I started with Roku when we got fiber internet at my location. Specifically to "Cut the Cable" So far it is everything I had hoped, and the learning curve was not as bad for my husband as I thought it might be. My only "complaint" is the remote. The volume control on the side really bugs me. Because of the small size of the remote, you can't help but hit either up-down-mute when you are holding it. Also, I would have like to see the Speaker button added as well as the sleep button.
I’ve done everything I can do and the remote doesn’t connect 90% of the time. I’ve pressed the reset button the back and it still won’t connect. I have to take the batteries out every time and put them back in to get it to work. This is happening on the two new remotes I purchased. Very annoying
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
