I bought the Roku for my camper since we don’t have a smart TV. It worked fine for us. My only drawback is I can’t access my Dish Anywhere on the Roku which is very disappointing. I can access it with an older Amazon Firestick so I will have to continue using the Firesrick to access my Dish. If I had known Roku couldn’t deliver my Dish Anywhere, I would not have purchased it. Having said all that what I can access on Roku is very good quality.

Hi John, thank you for your continued support. We want to inform you that Dish Anywhere is no longer accessible on the Roku platform. We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter. If there is anything we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks! Roku Customer Advocate
We bought our first Roku stick when we were finally able to get internet fast enough for streaming. One of our TVs needed to have a stick to smarten it up and it worked beautifully. After a month or so, we decided to get another for our already smart tv . We appreciated the ease of use and all the free programing that it offers. We are over 70 and really don't like change, but this was certainly worth it. We may even get another stick for another set we use occasionally.
I am not sure what is going on with these remotes, but they just continue to eat batteries at an alarming rate. I have paired them several times, as recommended, but it still does not matter. I believe that some of them are just bad design. I have replaced all but 2 of them among the 6 that we use. I am contemplating going to a different streaming device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there, thanks for sharing. We want to help. Roku remotes are designed to go the distance, but there are a few things that will drain a remote a bit faster, such as a congested Wi-Fi network and viewing lots of short-form content like YouTube. Also, try to power the device via a wall outlet to see if it will make any difference. By the way, we offer the Voice Remote Pro, a rechargeable remote with private listening, voice search, voice commands, two programmable shortcut buttons, and a lost remote finder, and you'll never repurchase a pack of batteries. As an alternative, you can use our Roku Mobile App. More information about it can be found at https://support.roku.com/article/217288467.
