My Roku is all set up ,but now it just keeps saying updating channels over and over for the last 2 hours. Why ??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Kindly try restarting your network router, for the updating of channels solely relies on your network strength. After doing so, you can restart your Roku device by unplugging it from the power outlet and plugging it back in. If the issue is persistent, kindly try connecting the device to a mobile hotspot just to check for differences. Button on my remote on side does not work very well. A lot of the time when you press it will not turn volume up or down and you have to keep messing with it to move.

I am ready to cut the cord with the cable company...after buying my first Roku and found out what I was missing with the cable company I now purchased 3 more Roku devices
one for every TV in my house and one for son at college...all I can saw is I haven't watched this much TV in years...i am getting channels for free that I would have had to pay for if I wanted them with the cable company...if you are thinking about it...take my word for someone who has bought 4 devices in like a month...don't wait just do it

Makes all my regular TVs into smart TVs.

I have 4 Roku boxes on non smart TVs.
5th TV is smart TV with Roku built in.
Use role on all 5 TVs.
One on back patio, one in living room, one in bedroom, one in garage, one in my cigar lounge.

The roku i bought is working great and hasn't broke on me. its been about 2 months since I bought it. Just that once in a while the sound button stops working for a few minutes

I bought this a month ago, but was contemplating about getting it over a year ago . Now that I have it, I want to kick myself for all the money I wasted with local cable.
