We purchased three Roku systems for our TVs. All of us are having remote control issues. The remote control stops working. We cannot change the channels, adjust the volume, or turn the TV off; all three remotes drain the batteries so quickly. We are not happy.

I bought this unit that has dual Wi-Fi frequencies to replace an older single frequency unit. With a later generation CPU and 5 Ghz Wi-Fi the new unit is much faster. Very pleased with the update.
We have a remote cabin and bought Roku to watch TV with the new internet service and it helped the family when it was to cold to go out. So we got home and got a Roku for the kid’s bedroom. They love it.
When I turn the express 4K+ Roku off it comes back on. Not easy to get at support for correcting the issue. The adhesive idea leaves residue on whatever you attach the HDMI box too. Kind of a crappy way to secure the hdmi box

Hi there! Thanks for taking a moment to share your experience with your Roku. No worries! We're here to help.
If your Roku Express 4K+ streaming player turns back on after you turn it off, it might be because it's connected to your TV's USB port. Most Roku streaming players connected to a TV's USB port will lose power and require a "boot-up" when the TV turns on from standby mode. To avoid this, you can connect your Roku streaming player to a wall power outlet. You may also try to use a new power cable if you have available. If the issue persists, contact us at support.roku.com/contactus. We will be happy to assist. Happy Streaming! Roku Customer Advocate
