Compact and serviceable design, but with flaws

The main benefit of this new model is that it is much more compact in the plumbed in version than for example the prior K150. A new feature is the addition of a "strong" option, that runs the water more slowly though the pod. Also the fact that it is apparently serviceable, unlike all prior models (that had to be junked even if a minor part failed), should be a plus.
However in other respects this model is a step back from the K150. Firstly while you can set a maximum serving size, you can't select for example just one size that corresponds to the size of the cup that is provided. Also you can't have the brewer stay heated for more than 4 hours. After that it goes off and the water cools. So someone wanting a coffee after that time has to wait almost 5 minutes for the unit to heat then brew. This is big set back for our application in a bed and breakfast where guests may want a coffee infrequently but at any time.
In addition a much vaunted feature in the operating guide is the ability to upload your own images to the screen saver. However after much wasted time trying to make this work, we found out from their customer service phone support that there is a bug and this feature simply does not work!
On balance we preferred our prior plumbed in K150 model that failed after 3 years, that was also less expensive. Unfortunately it is no longer available in the plumbed in version.
This new unit apparently has the ability for software updates in the field via a thumbdrive and the USB port. We hope that some of these problems may get resolved and that an update is made available for already purchased units.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this new unit about a month ago and so far it works great - I just hope it lasts - the things I don't like:
1.)It goes into a sleep mode after a prescribed time (up to 4 hours) - it then needs to heat up to work
2.) no way to drain the internal tank - so if it isn't used for a while the water will just sit in it
3.) The internal tank must be small because after 2 cups, it need to heat up the water for any additional cups.
Overall, I like it - just wish it had a few of the things listed above

This coffee maker works great. I had a different commercial Keurig that developed a big issue and customer serve stood behind their product and sent me this model. It’s a little slower to get the coffee brewed because it has to heat up every time unless you’re brewing back to back cups but it uses less energy so it’s worth the wait. I can’t thank customer service enough for their amazing support.

I received this machine Completely free to test by the app Influenster and let me just say, that this machine is amazing my staff absolutely loved it and if you have an office building or if you just want it for your house if you’re going to put it through the waterway and not the water tank way then I think that this is a great machine and works for anyone because especially it’s easy because it has the touchscreen, and that you can use any cup with it like you can use a tea cup you can use the coffee cups you could use the Hot chocolate you could really use anything for this machine that works for any type of cake up, and is very high-quality it it comes out nice it doesn’t take too long to make in the tank for the water filler is especially a great part of it because it is very big so that means it means you only have to fill it up once a day and then it will for sure last the whole day I totally recommend to anyone that has an office or just a house if you have a bigger house because this is quite a big machine!!!
