great watch with remarkable features

my son suprised me with the watch , and i couldnt be more pleased . i was so happy with my Descent g1, i went and brought him one. he was so pleased after his first dive, how it automatically recorded his dive information

Super fancy watch. Still trying to figure it out. I’m not able to get text message notifications from my phone to my watch-I’ve tried looking on the garmin help site and you tube without success!

Great basic dive computer and all around sports watch

I'm returning because it doesn't look good on my wrist. It's very small for a dive watch, tiny display. I own another Garmin watch and it's not worth it to own this thing just for diving. Seems well made, crisp and precise.

Marvelous Garmin watch

Garmin review
My wife gave me a Garmin watch for Christmas. The watch is off the chain as to giving you personal data about your health. I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It gives sleep, stress, heart rate, steps, biking, calories, body battery and intensity data tajar has been useful to me so far. I can’t wait until I go diving.
It reports to the Garmin app and my health app.

A great dive watch for the active diver

This is a fitness/ dive/ GPS watch. It can do so much. The dive computer display is very simple and not so cluttered and very customizable to make it display exactly what you want. The tide feature is so helpful if you make a living on on the coast.
My only concern with this watch. I feel it almost as too many options. Most divers won't use this watch for CCR mode or Tec diving. It's hard to market this watch to new/ beginner divers because there is so much to this watch it can be overwhelming. I still gave it 5 stars because I absolutely love it. It's now my everyday watch, but just keep in mind for new/beginning diver it could be a little overwhelming.

I purchased the Descent G1 for spearfishing and Freediving, but it is also great for multi-sport, cycling, and many other activities.
