The first one we purchased was in our camper. It was used about 35 times. It just stopped working. Because it was in our camper, it stayed in a drawer wrapped in a towel protected from any damage and it was 3 years old. Out of warranty. If there was another company that made a 1 cup coffee, I would have purchased that instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Keurig single serve coffee maker. It does not take up much space on my counter. I use it often and I don’t have to worry about making a large quantity of coffee at one time!

The Keurig K-Mini Single Serve Coffee Maker is the perfect addition to any size kitchen. I have an area near my refrigerator that I made into a beverage station. This is so much to be able to have a K-cup maker that doesn't take up a ton of space. I really like that it also doesn't have a water reservoir you just purchased in the amount of water you need per cup. It's so easy to use.

I wanted a Keurig that wasn't so big it took up lots of space. I also wanted one in a subdued color - got the gray. Not black or flashy colored. This one does all that.
It doesn't have a very big capacity, so you have to refill often. Coffee spatter show, so you will be cleaning it more often. It is not super fast, but is pretty quiet.
Overall, I really like it and would highly recommend if these are the options you want.
