Good Coffee but for how long?

I use Green Mountain K-cups exclusively and it's a great cup of coffee I'll admit. :)
I too have difficulty making it start sometimes, opening/closing the lid/pushing the button several times before it will start. Most times I have to manually turn it off as it will keep on 'growling' until I do. Even after turning it off it will 'whine' for several minutes and intermittently make a noise for up to an hour or more. My concern is 'lack of long life' with the little machine working overtime and not shutting itself off if I happen to be elsewhere in the house for few extra minutes or more. Will it die young?

I absolutely loveeeee this single serve! It’s so convenient! It fits perfect in my kitchen. Only flaw about it, it releases however much water you pore into it… if you pore too much water, then your drink may taste watered down! Make sure you use the same amount each time so you don’t over flow your cup or get a watered down drink! Other than that, super simple to clean and use!

I bought a K-Mini 4 years ago, still working. I usually only do 1 cup a day, once in awhile two, so the size is ideal. It does not take up a lot of room on the counter. This new one is for the counter and my old one migrates to our RV trailer. Great price and great product.
