The reservoir is tiny it makes one cup of coffee at a time in 2 mins, be better off with an electric kettle, some grounds and a poor over.
The only advantage? No clean up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I especially like the single-serve because the coffee comes out really hot, you pour in the amount of water you want (up to 12 oz.), it only takes 2 minutes for brewing and it takes up little room on my cabinet!
