I bought this to replace another Keurig in my bedroom. I'm not a morning person so when I have a rare early morning appointment or meeting, it's nice to make a quick cup while I get ready. However, this one is much more noisy than the last. It wakes my husband; then there are two bears up early in my house. I have to actually call Keurig to resolve (I tried to email but just received a response that I had to call). Hopefully I have a chance (and remember) to do that during business hours before it's too late.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
