I love Bose and I love the headphones, but I don’t get the volume that I need. I’m not sure I’m going to keep them.

I love how they clip onto my ears. I have a different size ear canal on my left ear and I’ve tried numerous plug type ear buds and none worked. Thank you Bose for creating the open ear style ear buds. Love them and they sound great.
I have had these almost two weeks. They are great when they stay paired. It’s incredibly frustrating how often then lose my phone and I have to forget them in Bluetooth and re-pair them. Sound is great, comfort is great, but staying paired is bad. I may return them.

I’m a big fan of Bose products, and thought this would be a good addition to my collection. Unfortunately, I was not totally pleased with this product.
Issue # 1: The earbuds are difficult to get in the same place on each ear. Unlike in ear buds, there are several places along the side of the ear where you can put them. But, for esthetic purposes you want them even. It isn’t easy to get them even.
Issue # 2: To allow for hearing environmental sounds, the earbuds have been designed to sit a distance from the ear canal. Unfortunately, this distance is a hard trip for the high frequencies, and the sound is dominated by the bass.
Issue # 3: The spring on the earbuds is strong, too strong for my comfort. After about 30 minutes, I have to take them off.
The concept is good, but this Bose product needs some more work.

It is great that you like the earbuds as a concept, and I understand that you aren't 100% sold on them.
The earbuds don't have to be worn exactly evenly on both ears, though there are a few things we recommend to make sure they are worn correctly. Make sure that you've got the button facing up on the earbuds, and that the button barrel is behind the ear. I'd also recommend checking the audio/EQ settings within the Bose app, as you can change the treble and bass of the earbuds. This way you can lower the bass of the earbuds if you're finding it more than you like. The audio/EQ settings can be found on the main page of the earbuds when within the Bose App.
