I bought this product a couple of weeks ago. I would give it 4 stars for design, 3 stars for listening to music quality & 0 stars for phone capability. Bose has a reputation for great sound quality. However, the phone quality is worse with the sound quality for both the user & the person who one is talking with. It’s worsen than sounding like one is in a trash can with a roaring crowd all trying to talk at once. It’s certainly not worth the $250 price tag.
Bought these about a week and a half ago and I'm loving it so much!! Sometimes the people I'm talking to on the phone say I sound far away so hopefully that's just a bug that can be fixed.
I bought these a couple weeks ago and so far I really enjoy them. Had a few issues with trying to answer phone calls (ended up disconnecting the call) turning up the volume. Definitely has good clear sound.
I brought them about 3wks ago and they are super light weight and comfortable. You can forget that you are wearing them, until ur phone rings or something. I just wish they were a little louder.
Been wearing these for about a month now. Love wearing them, very comfortable, the sound is great but when on a call the caller hears you muffled, you cannot have a clear conversation. Also have to pair my phone with them all the time.

If people you're speaking to on calls are hearing you muffled, then try installing firmware update 4.0.22 (or later), which was released to bring enhancements to your far-end call performance via improved voice pickup.
As for the pairing issues you mentioned, try rebooting your smartphone, as this can help to create a more stable Bluetooth connection.
