The open bud sometimes don't allow a clean sound. Right now my right bud buttom is not working.

The earbuds sound great it is comfortable and light on the ear. My major complaint is when talking on the phone people do not hear me well and I have to yell or eventually switch over to the actual phone.

The Ultra Open Earbuds have 4 microphones in each earbud; also, Bose has released firmware update 4.0.22 (or newer) to improve the customer's phone call experience, so do make sure you're on the latest firmware. some good some bad

I bought these ultra open earbuds about 3 weeks ago and when they're working they sound great and very comfortable. However the left bud sometimes loses connection and both have a mind of their own when raising and lowering the volume.

I bought them and the ear buds wasn't loud enough and when I got a call. If you weren't sitting a certain way you could hear the other person talking.

Thanks for your review! Firmware update 4.0.22 was released to bring enhancements to your far-end call performance, via improved voice pickup. Try installing this update (or later) via the Bose app, and see if the issue improves.
Also, since our Bose OpenAudio technology directs rich, deep audio into the ear canal, be sure the earbuds are being worn properly. Proper fit is important for product comfort and performance. If the earbuds do not fit properly or the orientation is incorrect, it could lead to poor audio or mic performance.

I am thrilled with these earbuds! I have trouble with traditional earbuds fitting comfortably so I started looking at open earbuds. The first pair I tried was a cheap brand and they didn't sound good at all. I am so thankful I gave Bose Ultra Open Earbuds a chance! They are perfect! Such great quality and sound. I highly recommend them.
