She loves the sound quality and clarity while being able to hear her surroundings, it's incredible how this technology works. The earbuds themselves are very stylish, (even make for a beautiful accessory) the materials and build quality it top of the line, and the controls are easy and intuitive. If you're someone that is not comfortable with over the ear or in ear devices, these earbuds are for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical on these at first . I saw when they came out and was curious, and eyeballing them for I guess 3 years now? I bought the buds because I knew the buds would be good, but they weren't good riding my Harley. The engine would mute them. Then, I saw these on sale and got them for a birthday present to myself and absolutely love them. I ride my Harley and hear my music and that's what I wanted, and you can hardly feel them at all which is even better. I can hear people talk while I'm listening to my music, hear the world around me. The sound is amazing, They're awesome!

The Ultra headset is on another level. The noise cancellation isn’t just good—it’s almost disorienting in the best way. The first time I turned it on, the world just disappeared. Flights, coffee shops, even noisy environments at home—it all fades out and you’re left with pure, immersive sound. The audio quality is incredibly balanced with deep, controlled bass and crystal-clear highs. You can tell this was engineered, not just tuned.
What really surprised me, though, are the Open Earbuds. I didn’t expect to use them as much as I do—but now they’re my go-to. Being able to stay aware of your surroundings while still getting great sound is a game changer. Whether I’m walking, working, or just moving around the house, they fit seamlessly into my day. Comfortable, secure, and way more immersive than I expected from an open design.
Between the two, Bose nailed both ends of the spectrum: complete isolation when you want it, and effortless awareness when you need it.
If you’re on the fence—don’t be. This is the kind of upgrade you notice immediately and appreciate more every day.

Amazing for Runners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfect for runners since it never falls out of your ears like the AirPods will during lots of movement. You’re also still able to be aware of your surrounds. I also have a tragus ear piercing and this is the only earbud that won’t mess with it. The downside is you’re not able to track it if one goes missing. I lost one after the half marathon and had to purchase another pair.

The sound quality is great when you can get them just right on your ears. They do not clip tight enough around my ears. I have already had 1 fall off in a parking lot and spent some time looking for it ( luckily I located it). I would love them if they would hold my ear a bit tighter.
