I already owned the Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds, but I read a lot of reviews about Ultra Open Earbuds which said they were more comfortable. So, I bought them as well. I love the Quiet Comfort Ultras, the Open Earbuds, not so much. Yes, the sound is great, and it's great that I can hear what is going on around me. So, for those aspects, I give them a 5 out of 5. However, I find them difficult to put on unless I am looking in a mirror, and I don't think they are as comfortable as the Quiet Comfort Ultra. In fact, I find them a little annoying. So for those two aspects, I would give them a two. Therefore, averaging the two grades together, I come up with a 2 and 1/2. So, I'll round it up to a three. As for the Quiet Comfort Ultra, I give them a 5..

Great Sound, Super Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my Ultra Open earbuds for more than month, and am really impressed. The sound is full and rich - it’s hard to believe that these are not “in ear”. I can use them while running and cycling and the sound is still great, plus they are comfortable the entire time which is unusual and welcome. I haven’t regretted this purchase at all - they’re worth the expense all day long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a month ago and have loved them. The balance of being able to hear your surroundings while still being able to hear your music is great. I always struggled with hearing others if my headphones were in even if they were off and now that problem is gone.

I wish it would not come off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is really nice and light. Many times I forgot I even have it on. The left ear would come off and I finally lost it within 2 months of buying it.. ugh, feeling heartbroken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the sound would be pretty decent, however doesn’t seem to adjust to optimize sound for my ears. Although I have tried, adjusting, doesn’t seem to stay in that position for continuous premium sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of these headphones so much I actually bought two pairs of them a few months ago. One black, one blue. I must say that before going any further I love them. The headphones are the most comfortable, most convenient, the best sound, and a good microphone. It's the whole kit & caboodle. I was disappointed to find that the black pair had connectivity issues to the point where I actually return them. I kept the blue ones because they are doing a good job. If they continue to operate consistently for a year, I'll buy another pair and consider the black pair a fluke. I've bought many Bose products in the past without that issue, so I can only imagine it was a one-off.
