Bose Ultras are the best ear buds EVER!

For the first time, I have all my requirements/needs met in a pair of ear buds. They are comfortable to wear, they do not fall out of my ears, they do not get stuck in my ears obstructing my surrounding necessary noise, they will not adversely affect my hearing, the recharging case is awesome, and I can have conversation with music playing and hear all of the conversation with the music easily channeled out as background noise until the conversation is over. It's like talking on my favorite elevator ride or something!
Also, I am a cyclist. There is nothing like having music on the road and at the same time being able to hear my surroundings (passing cyclists, motor vehicles, emergency vehicles, etc.).
Bose has always led the audio industry in my opinion, and it is products like this that will always keep them ahead of the pack. It is worth the extra money as an investment in my entertainment and my life. Well worth it!!!

Great sound improvements, instructions a problem

On the positive side, the sound quality is great, and I love that I can hear everything going on around me, especially when running outside but also when my wife wants to talk to me. It also works well with both my Windows 10 computer, my phones, and my Apple iPod and iPad. Unlike the Bose Flex, the volume controls on the ear phones actually work. They are a real improvement over all the ear phones I have been using, both from Bose and Apple. On the negative side, the guidance in the BOSE app is not clear and simple, took me forever to even find it. And the directions given in the support emails do not reflect what I see in the app. And managing the sound between different sources is not easy

Deciding whether to keep them. Great sound quality for music but really struggling with call quality. Almost impossible to hear call with only one ear piece in. Something needs to be done about increasing volume for calls.

Cannot speak to the reliability of these (I've only used them for one run), but the sound quality is great, they are comfortable, and they stay on my small ears.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds on August 29 and paid with Klarna since they are a tad expensive. I was really hoping to win the platinum giveaway celebrating 60 years, but that didn't happen. I'd love to have the platinum buds as an option to purchase. They are gorgeous! Anyway, the sound quality is amazing on these buds considering how small they are! The buds last for several hours and the packaging is perfect. I can fit the whole case with buds in my walking pouch. I'm so fortunate to own a pair of these Bose earbuds and hope to use them for a long time.

Greatest Earbuds Ever!

I bought my earbuds a little under a month ago and I absolutely LOVE them! I loved them so much I purchased a pair for my husband right away and he’s a dj, so he knows “sound” & he thinks they’re great too! Amazing Buy!!
