I bought these a month ago, I was really skeptical on if they were going to be loud enough since they don’t fully go in the ear and these definitely fit up to my expectations. When I go to the gym I can turn them up and not hear anyone but when I’m at the store I can have them lower and hear everyone, it’s honestly perfect. Also, I love how they fit. I play video games a lot and when I wear my headset too long it starts to hurt my ears, my old phone earbuds use to hurt as well, but not these. I fell asleep in them multiple times and didn’t wake up with pain. They’re also fit nice on my 6 year old which is a surprise as she hates wearing headphones and using earbuds. She’s had to use them when overstimulated and once again they were successful at shutting the world out. I plan to buy my entire family a set!! 10/10 recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it sounds great. Very old fan of Boses. I’m not a fan of how it fit on my ears and projects sound based on that fit(more out of my ears than into). Wish I could have tried it on before buying.

Hi there - the Ultra Open Earbuds won't quite match the volume of traditional earbuds that sit directly in the ear canal, but will still supply enough volume for you to enjoy your music. As for phone calls, Bose recently released a firmware update (4.0.22) to improve the customer's call experience. Try installing the latest firmware and see if that helps.
