Best earbuds I've ever owned.

Be present and still listen to what you want

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these about 2 months ago and what is very cool about them is you do forget you're wearing them. The type of ear buds that go in your ear have always made my ears very uncomfortable very fast, but these you really don't feel.
You also don't stand out so much as wearing ear buds, depending on your hair style, but since they don't have that long part sticking down you don't necessarily look like you're walking around with ear buds on.
They also are unlike the other type of ear buds in that they do not interfere with your normal hearing - you hear everything plus you hear whatever you're listening to with your phone which I really like. I have kids and I also like to listen to audiobooks so this way I'm not "off in my own little world." I'm still very present and aware of everything going on around me but listening to a book. If someone talks to me I don't have to go, "huh?" and take out an ear bud and then ask them to repeat.
And because you're still so present and they're so comfortable and you forget you're wearing them - they have scared the total crap out of me more than once when I'd get a phone call. One time I was in a public bathroom and suddenly loud and clear and all around me was "Jingle Bells." I jumped but no one else was reacting - then I realized it was my phone ringing with my Christmas ringtone. Really these things are great. I hope that eventually they would be better integrated with iPhone so they'd read my text messages to me, but I think that's just iPhone being proprietary.

Exploring the city by bus and train systems, the open earbuds meld perfectly in the noisy environments that are a constant. The sound quality is still on point with the high standards I set for BOSE. Definitely get what you pay for and why I trust the name as I have for years. Does not disappoint!

Not for everybody
