[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for myself and apparently, they didn't work for me, so I gave them away to my girlfriend and she doesn't like them either because they don't fit well in her ears

Better than expected

These had been on my radar for some time but I kept putting it off due to the price. Glad I eventually reconsidered and can’t believe I waited as long as I did.

Amazing Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these bc my airpods were hurting my ears wearing them for like 8 hours a day. They are excellent. The battery life is longer than my old ones and the music quality is excellent! I do work in a quiet area but I did wear them running once and didn’t have to turn them very high to drown out the traffic. Only thing is sometimes one of them seems to have connectivity issues or something. It seems like it’s bouncing between two of the modes and needs to be put back in the case for a few minutes before I can try again. I haven’t tried to hard to troubleshoot that though so it might be an easy fix that I’m just to lazy to get to. Overall, amazing headphones and would definitely recommend.

Redefining Open‑Ear Audio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds completely reshaped my expectations for open‑ear audio. I always assumed great sound required noise cancellation or full over‑ear headphones, but these proved me wrong. What starts out feeling like a gimmick quickly becomes something you barely notice on your ears. The audio immersion is impressive, yet you remain fully aware of your surroundings — a combination that’s hard to beat.
I still love my QuietComfort Ultra Headphones, but they serve a different purpose. For all‑day comfort and ambient awareness, the Ultra Open Earbuds are excellent.
There are shortcomings, though. Call quality is weak to the point of being nearly unusable, and the earbuds occasionally drop connection and reset themselves, which gets frustrating.
If you don’t rely on them for phone calls and can tolerate the occasional restart, these remain top‑tier, high‑end earbuds. I use them constantly.

They can actually be worn all day without discomfort, and when you do want to lose yourself in immersive sound they don’t disappoint.
Another reason why I’ll just stick to my guns and stick with my Bose.
