Bought about a month ago, used on two trips. Packing a breeze with branded cubes and comfortable on my old back, even fully loaded with and without hip belt. Space and pockets well laid out. Small quibbles: 1. I am not a fan of the address card holder. It’s hard to access and likely to be overlooked if the bag is found by a Good Samaritan. 2. No key chain leash! MacGuyvered a decent workaround with a Tom Bihn swivel carabiner and a NiteIze leash but this should be a standard for any pack.
Bought the 45L Travel Backpack and overall I'm very happy with it. Couple of things to note, the material of the bag gets dirty quite easily especially if you have a hairy dog. I constantly have some sort of marks and hair on it. I also like the cube design of the bag but I don't love the fact that we have to spend even more to make this bag functional plus the cube system robs precious space within the bag itself. There is some dead space all around the bag with the cube system inside. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.
I purchased this a carry on for a flight and cruise. The backpack was great and very comfortable. The features, accessibility and practicality of the bag mad it perfect for my needs. Absolutely recommend this backpack.
Bought this, plus packing cubes, for 5 days in southern Spain. It wasn't cheap, but I thought "stuff it, time I got decent luggage". So - very well made, top quality, lots of smart design features. Would have been nice to have had some pop out wheels I suppose, but basically the hype was justified. The cubes are expensive but work really well.
I'm a full-time real estate photographer and videographer. In the bag I keep 2 bodies, 3 lenses, my drone with 4 batteries, external microphone, filters, my laptop, charge cables and a bunch of accessories. The bag is built like a tank and I haven't seen any other bag that compares. 4 years in and I still love it.
vought the backpack before travelling to Australia, all my electronics fits in there and even though it weighed 11+ kilos, it still felt comfortable. highly recommended
It’s the bag I wished every other backpack I ever owned had been. First tour I brought it on my bandmate bought themself one the next day, and we gushed our love for it daily.
I love Peak Design and I love this travel camera pack. I love the strap on the back of the bag for slipping it on top of my luggage. It is light and I have even managed to figure out how to carry my Sony 600mm in this pack! There is one feature of the pack that could easily be improved and make it much more useful. The hip strap and buckle design is flawed. It is not strong, difficult to slip on connector innto the other strap/buckle, and does not support weight in the pack on anything over a short walk. Use a wider strap and, especially please, a buckle that is a legit buckle, and that can be tightened to carry the weight of the pack on the hips.
