I am lucky enough to travel a lot because of our travel blog, but I have always had a great challenge. I was never able to find a good backpack where to fit my main clothes and all the camera gear we use for our pictures and videos. For the first time and after many other backpacks, this 45L travel backpack has been one of the best things I have bought and is my top choice when it comes to the best travel backpack out there, especially for photographers.
It does not only have a great design, but it is incredibly functional, weatherproof, and I always take it as a carry on in all my trips with no issues.
If you want to know more about my personal opinion about the 45L and how they compare to some other good backpacks we have tried, you can take a look to our personal review here (it is not sponsored): https://www.nomadsrtw.com/travel-gear/best-travel-backpack/
I use this bag for one-bag business travel purposes and it has been amazing so far.
Some of my favorite things about the bag: - Hideaway shoulder and hip straps keep the bag looking clean. Many of the buckled straps that help lengthen and shorten the hip and shoulder straps are fastened to the strap, keeping the bag very clean. - Side access to the main compartment is great! - The bag has a rigid body and it maintains its shape very well - The bag can compress to 35L, which helps me use it as an "everyday carry" type bag. Helpful when packing a second pair of clothes/shoes for a gym session after an office day.
My only minor complaint is that the sternum strap is a little difficult to fasten, as it hooks into the opposite shoulder strap rather than clipping to a buckle as other bags tend to do.
This is a very good travel backpack. I've made two three days trips to Idaho with the backpack and everything I needed. Also had no trouble at airport with it. Great carry on bag.
I've had 5 travel backpacks before this one, including a Fjallraven, Osprey, Quechua, and Kelty. I've been obsessed with finding the perfect sized backpack, with all the right features, and this one is it.
Buy this backpack if you are planning on doing serious long-term traveling, or just a casual weekend. It will satisfy both needs.
I love the feature that the top part of the backpack is collapsible. Which can make whatever ever in the bag tighter. I hope peak design can introduce a feature that can tighten the smaller patches in the bag so they will not move while in the backpack. For clothes it is also good to press them so the can get smaller. The collapsible top is not firm enough for this purpose
so I got the bag over a month ago and that may not seem like a long time but i use the bag every day. I'm a big guy and I don't mean like I'm kinda big I mean im big and I use the bag no I can't use the waist strap or the chest strap but the bag it's me and I fell I don't need those straps and its a good fit, i have lots of gear in mine i use a d500 with grip and a 70-200,80mm,35mm,18-35mm and a macro lens along with some other things i care and this bag dose amazing
