I bought this backpack last week for a planned trip in a month. I ended up using it as an everyday backpack because a carry a lot of things. Does the job pretty well combined with a shoe pouch for my gym shoes and a tech pouch for my chargers and stuff I need but I don't want to see a lot in the bag.
Here is a « critic » and I am nitpicking here: I was really expecting some cool stickers to come with all these great products to put on my water bottle but there were none...first world problems but I ain't gonna lie I was looking forward to getting them lol.
Hands-down the best travel backpack in the market.

I live out of this bag.
I'm a "digital nomad", and travel full-time (by choice -- I work for a company remotely). I carry the Travel Backpack and a Medium Camera Cube with me everywhere I go. It stands up to tough weather (even without using the rain pouch, which has a genius storage and attachment mechanism), and holds everything I need -- passport, ~2 weeks of clothing, toiletries, tech stuff (I carry a lot more than most people, trust me), etc. My camera gear all fits in the medium cube, which I take with me as well -- it gains a strap and is carried on my shoulder while traveling (plane - under the seat), and takes the place of the personal effects in my bag when I arrive at my destination and during my day-to-day.
The ONE thing I'd like to see on the bag is an aluminum frame to help with the weight + counterbalancing. As it is, the TB gets quite heavy if you pack it out (especially with photog gear in it). While the straps are padded well and hold up, the lack of structured support and counterbalancing can weigh on your shoulders and back.
It's a great backpack for minimal travel. I always take it on my trips. It fits my lightweight Aer daily backpack and I'm good to go. Keep in mind that it's quite heavy, so it can be an issue for some people.
I've used this for 3 trips so far to Europe and within the states. I'm delighted with my purchase, it has really helped me keep my drone/ camera/ batteries & cloths all in one place. + Travel Tripod!
So I bought this bag in January of 2020 and quickly went on a month long tour of Europe. The bag was mostly going to be for my camera equipment and some space for daily outings. It quickly proved to be the perfect companion. I reviewed bags from all over and this one garnished the most interest so I dove in. It did not disappoint. Each feature is useful and not just some gimmick. Even the extra outer straps proved to be a great use with random items. You can really make this bag your own as you get more and more comfortable with each pocket and by the end of my trip I wasn't even thinking about how to get something. It was like reaching into my pocket. I continue to use this bag almost as my daily. It has been a standout in a embarrassingly large collection of camera bags.
I like to leave honest reviews so I wait until I've used the product a lot.
I was an original backer of the Travel Backpack and have been using it for over a year now.
I love the engineering that went behind the design and I love all the features that this bag has to offer. It is truly second to none.
However, there is one thing that keeps me from having this bag as my default travel backpack: weight. This bag is incredibly heavy by itself. I am an ultralight traveler and I never take a suitcase with me when I travel the world. I wanted to make this backpack my travel companion but unfortunately its deadweight makes this impossible.
So I end up using it for grocery shopping, sports, etc, which makes it an incredibly expensive bag for the task. And I continue traveling with my Gregory backpack and the camera goes in wrapped up in a scarf...
