Hate the bag

I love the backpack size and portability. One of the reasons I bought it was for the waist and chest load lifters so it doesn’t strain my shoulders. I hate it, there are no buckles. They have metal little hooks and it is really hard to remember where and how to unhook the metal hooks.

Awesome Travel Bag

I bought this 45L backpack in September 2019 and took it with me to Kenya for a 5 day safari trip. It fit my 100-400mm Fuji lens plus my other camera gear and the rest of recommended safari trip packing list to Masai Mara. The recommended weight is 33 lbs and had to be soft-sided for a bush plane. This bag was everything I expected it to be. It's been my companion on my trips all over Europe and Asia. It's still holding up pretty well.

A dream come true

I bought a bag this past spring in preparation for summer travel and I am SO glad I did. I love this backpack! It's the backpack I want to travel everywhere with! Its color is easily recognizable, its features are incredibly helpful, and it fits all the stuff I need in a carry-on. I love the security features and the different compartments in the bag. It is, as advertised, easy to access from the sides and from the back. And, it's incredibly high quality. Thank you for making such an excellent travel backpack.

Great travel bag

Became my go to bag for all travel occasions. Bag is big and durable enough for cameras, laptop, ipad, clothes and easy pack up with PD packing pouches. Shoulder strap is thick and comfortable, less stress on shoulders and back with them. Bag is a bit heavier than previous travel bags I owned but feels strong at all points of straps, so I guess it evens out weight for durability.

Durable and Easily Cleaned

Bought about 3 years ago when I went backing in Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, for about a month. Held up well. Can handle a lot of dirt and cleans easily. I think because its a backpack even when it was oversized as a carryon (fully expanded only certain airlines) I never had an issue I think because its kind of incognito or just luck who knows. Just remember where you pack things when I was going through airport security (this only happened once and I was told it was just because they were training they were being extra formal) TSA struggled to find the "mystery" item which ended up being a portable charger it was a bit of a pain going through all the zipped comparments. Everything was fine just know where you put your electronics or like anything that may be a potential issue because there really are a lot of zippers and compartments (a good thing). Good size for me 5'8 woman medium to broad build (I could see shorter women or short torso people in general maybe struggleing with the weight distrubtion). I have a larger chest (H-cup in case any women have similar worries) and one concern I had was that the chest strap would be uncomfortable but I had no issues. I had the matching travel cubes and toilettires bag which have been used a lot in the three years. The material used is good and i've spilt foundation on it and managed to wash it off. I will be using it on another trip shortly which is why I'm writing this review now as I was reminded while checking the dimensions of the bag to compare to airlines. The side zippers that expand the bag capacity can get caught on the material and are difficult to unstick so watch as you condense the bag but I reconize this is human error and the matieral held up as I got it unstuck so I can't complain much. The price is a lot but I see this bag holding up atleast a decade if not a lifetime even with rough treatment.

Improve the belt and strap for 5 stars.

Great materials, love all the pockets but very much let down by waist belt and chest strap just not up to snuff when the pack is full.
Recently moved internationally with this travel pack filled with a small and a smedium PD cube with all my camera gear and all the things that go along with it. Like HDs, chargers, etc. Ill just say that the idea of the waist straps are better than the reality. The waist belt does not do a good enough job to support the weight of a full pack and the chest strap is more for show than anything else as well.
I bike around town a lot and use this to run some errands when i am just out and about and again when it has a fair amount of things in it it just does not feel that comfortable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lacks some essential features of other bags

I bought this 45L coyote travel backpack and I'm disappointed with the material. In the photos, it looked more like a military tan. Instead, it's golden tan and reflects light because it's shiny.
It's a good size, and the fact that it can be converted to a 30L is great. The zippers are still good quality. The interior of the bag and the pockets are top-notch.
However, I also own a 30L every day backpack, and I think they've removed some cool features. For example, there are no magnets for the side pockets (for a tripod or water bottle) or for the laptop/iPad (it has Velcro and diminishes the quality of the product). There are none on the shoulder straps. Therefore, the shoulder straps are loose and don't look as clean. Additionally, there are no interior side pockets, which could be very useful for storing small items.
So, it would be wise to add these useful features, which are already present on your other bags, to a V2 to ensure that your bags remain a renowned and high-quality brand.
