Good backpack. Two downside. The laptop compartment could be easier accessible. And you can only use the storage inside of you take your packing cubes first always.

I bought this for my girlfriend after traveling in Europe for 2 weeks with the Everyday 45L backpack. I had a very great experience and have used my bag regularly for several years without any quality issues whatsoever. The travel variant fits the needs for her to travel with and use frequently when not traveling.

Excellent travel backpack

Bought last month specifically for a trip to Europe. Focus was for something to carry on and hold all my gear as well as 3 days of clothes. It handled that in spades. Very comfortable when trekking through airports or trekking through cities. The one improvement I would like to see is to be able to access the laptop/tablet compartment separately without having to unzip the main compartment

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for- something to take as a carry on for airplane travel. It perfectly combines all the best features of a piece of luggage with some great features of a backpack. It looks and feels great too. Love it!

Great everyday bag, lacking some small features

I had this bag for now a month, and as an owner of the travel backpack 45L I would have loved to see the pockets on the exterior sides of the bag which were super useful to me, as well as a little pocket on the very top of the bag. However this is still an excellent bag, very practical for everyday use. I would still recomand it to friends

I'm in love - even after 6weeks in Europe

I brought just this backpack to Europe for 6weeks and I'm never traveling without it again. Pockets for every accessory. Expandable when I wanted to fit gifts for family. Rugged with the waist attachment to do 100 miles around Mont Blanc. Looking cool in stylish cities like Copenhagen. I paired the pack with the large clothes compression bag and the waist belt. I love lay flat opening. The zippers are strong and reliable. The rotating shoulder straps are useful when stowing the bag at a hostel, airplane or car. I always get compliments. As an engineer and designer myself I really appreciate the attention to detail and elegant execution of this bag. I highly recommend.
