I bought it a couple months ago and finally got to travel with it last week. I am really happy I went with this travel backpack. It was eat to keep my things organized whether it was in a hotel room or transiting through airports. It is structurally sound as well.
My favorite bag so far has been Kickstarter project that was a great concept poorly executed. The 45 liter Travel bag from Peak improved on the concept, and totally nailed the execution. I bought the bag a month ago for a two week trip to Germany, Austria, the Dolomites, and Venice. We've been doing carry on travel for years, but with the travel headaches we've been hearing about this summer, we really wanted to avoid checking a bag. The Travel 45l made it easy. Far and away the best bag I've ever owned. Doing carry-on only usually involves some compromises, but the decisions the Peak Design team made on this bag are truly elegant. And the build quality is second to none. Bravo and thank you! Dan
Bought it specifically for 1-2 week trips (specifically for airplane travel) and it fit the bill perfectly. It is such a thoughtfully designed backpack with lots of space for organizing your travel items (with the addition of the packing cubes it was a dream). Easy top-access to take out your laptop and liquids at the airport, lots of loops to clip carabiners, and massive side-pockets for my huge water bottle. Pretty much in love with it.
I've been using this bag for a while now and it is super great. The only thing I wish is if the inside had the ability to use the origami folds so I could use the divisors to organize the bag.
Back from a 2 1/2 weeks European trip carrying the the 45L. I used a compact luggage carrier most of the time and as backpack when plane boarding, stairs, rain, etc. The bag is durable, sleek looking and with security features. The only inconvenience is that the front pockets are tight to access when the bag is full, and to get to the main compartment, you have to turn the bag upside-down. You can access the main compartment from the front by unzipping the front pocket partition and lop it over but it's awkward. Aside from that, the bag served me well.
I bought this bag over a year ago, and it continues to be an excellent daily-driver bag. I use it for laptop carry, groceries, and sort trips in Europe. The expandable sections make it excellent for multi-use, and the large main pocket makes it perfect for stuffing all sorts of belongings away.
Best bag ever! I'm constantly moving from one house to another. I live at both houses plus I film for my YouTube channel so i needed a bag that would cover multiple situations. This bag along with a few other accessories like the packing cubes allow me to pack everything i need all neat and tidy. This bags expanding design allows me to fit as much or as little as i need. I love that this bag looks deceptively small in comparison to how much it actually can fit and it can fit a surprising amount in it. Its side zippers as well handles on all four sides plus the back make this one of the most versatile bags you can buy. I like to pack the main compartment so that I can still access stuff from the side zips such as a hand sanitizer for when its needed. The bags also built like a tank just take one look at it and you'd know it was built to last. My only complaint would be that it's not the most comfortable and that 's also a common complaint by the way but I don't think it's that bad. If you're looking for a bag that is extremely versatile, holds a ton and is build to last than this is it. :)
Want to run through an around a new city and still be able to navigate stairs, public transportation, and cobblestone street all while still being to have coffee and a croissant? This is your pack. I hate having to deal with rolling luggage of bulky duffles. Big enough to hold a week’s worth of clothes (and laptop and camera) but not so big that it makes you fall over backwards (said from the POV of a 5’0 woman). Love it! Well constructed and nice clean look.
