I purchased this bag for myself to take on our trip to Japan. I don't know how I used my previous bag for so long. This bag combined with the tech pouch, wash pouch, and the 3l sling fit perfectly with room for my over headphones and a 16inch Macbook pro. All the organization and quick access made travel better than I have ever experienced. With the expansion capabilities, I was able to expand it enough to fit additional purchases made on the trip but still have easy access to my belongings. A larger bag but still got it to fit underneath all of our airplane seats. Once we got back my wife purchased the bag as well cause she saw how nice it was.
The build is great, I got black and love how sleek it is. A phenomenal travel companion

I researched travel backpacks and arrived at this one. I purchased on for an upcoming trip to the UK which will be carry on and public transportation only for 6 weeks. I liked it so much that my wife also purchased one. A little pricey, but so far it seems worth it.

Overall, this is a great travel bag! My favorite features are the shoulder and hip straps that stow really nicely, and the ability to go between the compact ~30L up to ~45L. This bag is very well made and is a joy to use!
I don't have any regrets choosing this bag, but I do think it is more bag than I need, since I am not a camera guy. A number of the features are directed towards traveling with camera gear, so I don't take advantage of them as a normie. But of course, I knew that going in and I would say I'm quite happy with the Peak Design 45L bag, I just don't think I would buy it full price as a non-camera guy because there are other good options out there.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The perfect travel companion

This bag has traveled with me for the past 5 years. Whether a simple photo shoot, a weekend getaway, or a multi-week international trip, the Travel Backpack is always part of my kit. The thoughtful design elements such as the luggage pass-through, hide away backpack straps, expandable capacity, functional pocket layout, and high quality materials really set this one apart from all the other bags I have tried. You really hit the nail on the head for me with this design, thank you!

I bought this for my husbands birthday, along with two packing cubes. I was a bit reluctant due to the price point, but when the items arrived and I saw the features and quality of the pack and cubes I was very happy.

Definitely the most innovative strap system I've ever seen. I love the way they hide away while always being available for use, especially the waist straps. Overall, the bag seems to be made high quality.

The airtravel backpack

I got this online a couple weeks ago and the bag looks sleek and the finish looks really good. it doesn’t look like a cheap backpack. there are plenty of pockets and zips to keep a multitude of items. Just be sure to remember where you put your small items. It can get lost! One of this features I didn’t appreciate was the side zips that didn’t zip all the way to open up in the front. I guess I’m used to typical bags with front zips all the way through. The zips open up at side only and this makes it harder to go through all pockets when looking for your stuff. I also wish they had other colors instead of black and olive green. Otherwise the bag was really sturdy and stands upright by itself instead of falling over, so it keeps itself clean. The side pocket also has sleeves that are tall enough to prevent water bottle was falling out.
