I really like how you can access the main compartment multiple ways, so you don't have to dig through your backpack from the top to find your items. The front compartment also have 4 internal zipped compartments to help you stay organized.
The 45L backpack is the best designed pack I’ve ever traveled with. Especially with the pack cubes! It keeps it all organized and is especially good at being able to find things quickly. Just an amazing design.
I bought this bag for camera gear and exclusive use on long distance motorcycle trips. Of all the bags that I considered, this one had the best features, especially the ability to access gear from either the back (where the shoulder straps are) and most importantly, the front. There were plenty of tabs & loops to run RockStraps through and I can access any and all gear without removing the bag from my motorcycle.
I recently purchased the 45L Backpack. I plan to use it on a 2 week trip to Italy this summer and will be testing it on a trip to Grand Cayman shortly. So far, the design and quality of this backpack is clear. It is very well thought out and seems to have all the bases covered. I can definitely get more in this bag than my standard roller bag and I am looking forward to traveling wheels free.
I bought this bag days before taking a trip to Italy. It was my carry-on bag, so it never went through the checked luggage. I only carried it around on my back, no hiking, no banging it around on anything rough at all. Yet, the material looks very worn already after two days. All of the pockets and the expandable space is amazing. In Italy, the two people I was traveling with were both pickpocketed, but Not able to get into my backpack, so high ratings for safety! Overall, I love the bag I just wish it didn’t look so worn after the first use.
This backpack rounded out my travel kit in the best way. Holds a lot and it’s comfortable to wear. My favorite thing is how there were different access points to my gear. When traveling in remote areas of India, including the Himalaya by trains, planes and automobiles, that was the best feature. This bag was clearly designed for travelers!
