Solid Bag

Little Heavy but solid all around bag. Water bottle pockets on the sides are the best around. I use mainly as a daily carry but pair with Peak Design travel cubes for those long weekends at the in-laws etc. Makes for an easy transition from daily life to weekend out of town. Hoping to fit everything I need for a trip to Thailand in this bag. Finding packable shoes that my wife will let me wear to a night out and double as a functional shoe for walking and exploring is going to be the most challenging task I am afraid.
Really Amazing but definitely takes an hour to learn all the features

Would highly recommend. By far the best designed backpack I've ever used. I would recommend watching their YouTube tutorials to get the most of this backpack since there are just so many features, some hidden, that you'll be excited to find out are there.
Just check out the video and you'll be sold! We've tested many bags over the years to carry our photo/tech gear. There is no competitor that has put this much thought into development and quality.
This bag is perfect, period! Build quality is ridiculous, it has all the pockets you could need or wish and it is well designed and engineered. Travel backpacks from other brands are junk compared to it... I got rid of all my other bags and made this one my only travel companion.
I have to be honest I saw a lot of reviews talking about the straps and weight of the bag, but honestly it's balanced well, and doesn't feel oversized what so ever. Its for photographers that need space and love good design. thank you Peak!
PEAK is the BEST! Bear with me... I returned the travel bag because it was too heavy for me when packed out but I kept the packing cubes, shoe pouch, tech pouch, and wash pouch. When I returned the bag I inadvertenly sent the packing cubes too. While PEAK cold not verify the cubes in the pack because they use a 3rd party contractor they sent me out new packing cubes — something I did not even request... How many companies do you know that care for their customers like this?! Don't hesitate to purchase Peak products!
I wore this bag for 5 days straight and then, bought another bag. Sigh. I wanted to love this bag (I spent a lot of money on this bag) but alas there many critical flaws. A bag can have great tech and features but if it's not comfortable to wear what's the point.
1. The shoulder straps are incredibly uncomfortable and should have had more padding. For the load capacity of this bag the straps just feel cheap and underwhelming
2. Simple tasks such as loosening and tightening the shoulder straps while wearing the bag are incredibly difficult because the adjustment straps require a) thumb in loop then b) pull out away from body and then c) pull forcefully in a down motion. This action becomes infinitely more difficult if you are wearing a winter jacket or if the bag is weighed down with an abundance of camera gear.
3. The swivel feature on the back top of the shoulder straps cause the straps to slide outward on the shoulders. I constantly have to pull the straps upward and in.
4. Mating the interior to exterior snaps to reduce the bag profile takes way too much time. Cool? Yes. Cumbersome. More Yes.
4. Zippers. With Think Tank Airport Navigator as my reference for premium, smooth, durable zippers the Travel Line zippers feel rough and 'jerky' for lack of better term.
5. Bulk. This part mystifies me. It's a rigid and big bag BUT it doesn't carry more Camera Gear than my Tenba Solstice 24 or Wandrd Prvke 31 (with Tenba BYOB 10 insert).
Fits everything perfectly. Great for travel. But wear it fully loaded (medium camera cube with gear, pouches, laptop, some clothes) for more than 30 minutes and your shoulders are done. I have the everyday 30 liter and those straps are even worse. I was excited when I was watching the hangouts during the course of the Kickstarter, learning they updated the straps so I pulled the trigger on one. Now I'm sad I did cause I can't return it. I could've easily purchased this bag from an online retailer and recieved it at the same time AND had the option to get my hands on it and have the option to return it if need be. I also backed for the duffle, so I hope that shoulder strap will have some more padding...Overall, if you need to get a fair amount of gear from point A to B and don't plan on walking around with it at the location you're visiting OR simply don't fully load it, then it'll be a great bag. Minus 1 star for each strap.
