Good for trips/travel, Not for Everyday

I bought this bag several months ago and I've used it on a couple trips and a couple times around town. Will this replace my Everyday Backpack? No. The design and how you use the Outdoor Backpack is too cumbersome for everyday use. The strings are not the most intuitive to use. When I first got the backpack, I thought I was going to break something, b/c I had to pull so hard to open up the top.
But over time and using it a few times, the backpack grew on me. It's definitely particular in its use case. I do like that it's lighter and less rigid than the Everyday backpack.
Ultimately, I'm keeping both the Outdoor and Everyday backpack, for different occasions

This is a great backpack for hiking with a camera. In a way, it's one of a kind: there aren't many packs on the market that combine outdoor-grade materials with the versatility to carry camera gear. And on top of that, it's a genuinely beautiful piece.

I love the design, the material, the look and the fit so much that I’m planning on buying one for my wife as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t read the dimensions or the fittment on this pack, I’m 6.5” with very broad shoulders and back. So this pack fits a bit snug but overall love the experience using it. Used it one two travel trips already and all my camera gear and daily carry’s were nice and protected.

Further it is a great „platform“ for further add-ons like internal a camera cube or outside all kind of different bags and gadgets which should be in reach. It would be great to see further internal add-ons from Peak Design like an „office“ pack

I got this pack for a multi week camping trip in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Along with a medium and small camera cube, it did a great job at protecting my camera body and lenses, and a tech pouch kept all my chargers and cables straight. The top roll and side pockets were secure, and the front pouches were great for maps, notebooks and a small jacket.
Would be nice if there was a little more internal storage, but the modular nature of the cubes is very configurable.
